WILD SAUNA CLUB TERMS

Disclaimer

Use of the sauna is done so at your own risk. We ask that you contact your GP if at all in doubt about safely using the sauna, ahead of making your booking.

If any of the below apply to you (please note, this is not a comprehensive list) we advise you to seek your GP’s advice:

  • If you're pregnant

  • If you've had a heart attack or stroke

  • If you're taking any medications

  • If you have cardiovascular conditions and/or problems

  • You have epilepsy

  • You have asthma or breathing conditions

  • High or low blood pressure

  • If you have arterial disease

  • If you have joint or muscle injury

The sauna is wood-fired and is extremely hot. Do not touch the stove, stove door, flu chimney, sauna rocks, or surrounding fire guards, and only as instructed to pour water onto the stones.

  • When pouring water on the rocks, start from the point furthest away from you to prevent scalding

  • Children over 13 years are permitted to use the sauna but children under 16 MUST be with an adult family member/ guardian present at ALL TIMES during the hire and use of the sauna (a waiver/terms and conditions must state the relationship between the parent/guardian and the minor and is signed by them accordingly).

  • No under 16’s allowed in Ice baths/Plunge Pool/Cold showers.

  • Everyone must shower or rinse prior to using the cold plunge baths - every time they are used - no exceptions.

  • Alcohol and smoking are not permitted in or around the sauna.

  • We reserve the right to refuse admission to intoxicated persons.​

  • Any hanging jewellery should be removed before entering the sauna to prevent burning.

  • The Sauna Host on duty must be respected as they are the legal guardian of the business and space for that session.

Sauna etiquette must be adhered to at all times. This includes:

  • Entering and exiting the sauna with care.

  • Removing shoes before entering.

  • Sitting on a towel at all times.

  • Staying in the sauna for no longer than 20 min at a time (we recommend 5-15 min sessions)

  • Do not use essential oils in the sauna without permission.

  • Only swimwear may be worn in the sauna. This does NOT include boxer shorts.

  • Nudity is not permitted.

  • Only pouring the provided sauna water on hot rocks and nothing else.

  • Keeping access points clear to allow other users to exit safely and swiftly if needed.

  • Not touching any part of the stove.

If you are making a booking on behalf of a group, it is your responsibility to make all users aware of the terms and conditions and to practice safe sauna use, as well as making others aware of what to bring and other useful information.

We reserve the right to refuse admission for any reason that may be deemed a health and safety risk. Refunds will not be offered to anyone refused admission.

DIVERS:

If you are joining us for a sauna at Stoney Cove, please ensure that you only book your session if you are not taking part in any diving activities that day - either before or after a sauna session.

WILD SAUNA CLUB CANCELLATION POLICY

Sauna sessions: 

We will ONLY refund or reschedule any sauna session up to 48 hours before your booking. Please email hello@wildsaunaclub.co.uk with the name of the person who made the booking and any booking reference. You are also able to do this yourself using the link in your booking confirmation email. After 48 hours we do not offer refunds or rechedules.

Bookings cancelled on the day will not be refunded - see above point.

We do, however, understand the UK weather is not always favourable and will offer you a chance to reschedule if we will not be open due to weather warnings officially issued by the Government.

Please note: in the event a cancellation is requested by a customer, and not the fault of the business, refunds will be minus a £5 transaction/admin fee.

Private/event bookings:

A deposit of 50% will be taken to secure your booking.

We will refund or reschedule any private booking up to 14 days before your booking. Please email hello@wildsaunaclub.co.uk with the name of the person who made the booking and any booking reference.

Bookings cancelled within 14 days of your booking will not be refunded.

Sauna tent hire bookings need to be paid for in full at the time of booking or within 30 days of the booking.
